This week, I am again, thankful for so many things. At church last night, we began a series of studies in Colossians - and my pastor pointed out, that from the very beginning, before Paul began "speaking" to the people in his letter, he THANKED God...think about that again, BEFORE he did anything else, he THANKED God! That REALLY touched me. Lots of times, I ask and I ask and I ask...but how many times have I THANKED AND THANKED AND THANKED!!! I am blessed...with so many many things, and not just BIG things...everything is a blessing...EVERYTHING. So...as I reflect this week and think about what I am most thankful for...I am thankful for my church! God sent me to Sharon Baptist Church...I thought THEY needed me - funny thing, I had no idea how much I would need them in the next few months. I am thankful for my pastor and his family, I am thankful for the song leader who is so very patient with me, I am thankful for my Sunday School Class...I know, without a shadow of a doubt, that if I EVER ask for prayer, they are all over it, and I also know, I don't even have to ASK...they are all over it DAILY. What a true blessing it is to have a church FAMILY. If you don't have a church, I encourage you to pray and seek His guidance to send you to the right church where you can find your family. And if you are already a member of a church, thank God for your church family!
