Go here to sign up for your FREE Shell Saver Card!!!! This is not a credit card, it's a card that you can only use a Shell Stations to only pay for gas, but it's attached to your checking account. When you use this card for gas, you get $0.02 off per gallon of gas. If you have a Kroger Card, and your local Shell Station participates, you can use your Kroger card to get your $0.10 off per gallon (for every 100 points you have), plus this card to get a total of $0.12 off per gallon of gas!!! The additional $0.02 is not taken off instantly at the pump, but when the transaction goes through your checking account, you get the additional $0.02 off then. It's a great thing to have with the price of gas, anything off of a gallon of gas is a blessing!!!

Free Tip Tuesday - On Monday....Make Menu Monday!!!

So today, my free "tip" for the week....(doing this on Monday instead of Tuesday) - it's simple, make menus!!! When I first started couponing, I noticed all these other posts mentioning their menus for the week. I never really thought it was important, until I decided, I was going to try it. It has helped me so so much!!! You may think...this is silly and takes up way too much time, but actually, in the end, it will save you time and money. I don't make fancy menus...I am a simple cook, but, I do plan ahead what I am going to fix to eat for the month. Not only does it help me be better organized with my cooking, but, when I go grocery shopping, I know exactly what I am going to prepare for the month, so I can be watching for those items to go on sale, if I don't already have it in my pantry/freezer. It also helps me keep stock of what I have in my pantry/freezer and pull from that, rather than shop every day to get what I need for supper. Also, if I notice that I am going to be having the same item a couple times in one month, I make them ahead of time, and freeze it...it saves me so much time!!! Then, when I want to cook what I've already frozen, I pull it out of the freezer a couple days in advance and put it in my fridge, then when I get home from work, it's ready to put in the oven.
