FREE Tip Tuesday - How do I store my coupons?

Now that you've started clipping your coupons faithfully, you should have a pretty good stash of coupons. Your asking yourself, how do I keep up with my coupons?

When I first started clipping coupons, I used just 2 regular envelopes...I had one for my personal items, and one for my grocery items. That worked for about 2 weeks...it was hard for me to find my coupons and figure out what coupons I had, so, I moved on to a plastic tote type box. I had one that I had stored my scrapbook stuff in, it had a lid with a handle, it was a nice sturdy tote. I took note card and labeled them, and used a paper punch I had to make my own little "tabs" to attach to my note cards. I placed my note card "categories" in alphabetical order, then placed my coupons behind each appropriate category. That also worked for a little while. I took it with me to the store, but it was really difficult to pack, and difficult to put in my cart, and difficult to look through, so, I invested in a binder. I was never happier! My savings increased INSTANTLY once I started using my binder.

I started with a simple plastic binder from my local Wal-Mart and some baseball card holders. I got plastic dividers - I got the ones with the pockets in the front, so, if for some reason I didn't have time to completely clip my coupons, I could at least place them in the appropriate "category". I borrowed a friends label maker machine, then put all my coupons in order. It is sooooo handy! Now...I have a HUGE zippered binder with a handle, but, I didn't grow into that until after about a year of using coupons. With my binder, I am able to unfold it in my cart and flip though it as I shop, making it so convenient and easy to find coupons for items that are on sale.

I have also moved on from the baseball card holders, I still use them, but, I also use currency holders for my printable coupons, and then other specialty holders so that I don't have to fold my coupons to get them to fit into the baseball card holders. I found that when I folded my coupons, it made my binder more bulky and hard to close.

It's your own personal choice how you choose to store your coupons, however; I found that not only was easier to use a binder, my savings increased dramatically when I began using a binder. Check out my binder below, and check out the links for the specialty coupon sleeves.

Swagbucks is a wildly popular site where you can earn cash and prizes by using their search engine, playing games and watching videos and lots more! I have earned well over $600 Amazon and $50 Paypal here so far since Nov 2009.

Intstall the toolbar - you get 1 daily buck for loading the toolbar.

Search daily - Just type any search term into the swagbucks search engine and hit enter. If you don't win wait a minute or 2 and hit page 2 or search a new term. If you still don't win, just keep repeating until you win. I usually hit search wins 3-4 times a day. Search wins will look like this -

Answer the daily poll - You get 1sb for this. You wil find this under Earn.

Do NOSO - You will find this under Earn. Click the big red button, skip or pass all of the offers, put the captcha in. This is worth 2sb daily.

Check for daily surveys - You will find this under Earn. If you qualify for a survey you can earn big, but if you don't they give you 1sb for each survey you try and get disqualified from, up to 5sb per day.

Check the offer walls for videos or offers that you may be interested in singing up for. Videos is what I mainly do each day.

Check you swagbucks inbox for special offers or video surveys worth 3sb each. I get the video surveys daily, some don't tho.

On the home page you will notice a box that says bonus bucks. Sometimes these are simple tasks you can do to earn Swagbucks. I check this everyday for easy bucks. If there are offers they will have videos called Adrewards. These are short videos you watch and put the 2 numbers that cross the screen at the end of the video. I have had anywhere from 2-10 videos daily. They do vary.

I watch Swagbucks TV in my spare time. I even keep the volume off so I can watch regular TV while this is running. Once you click on a video you will notice a box at the top of your screen that will go up 10% at around 35 seconds into the video. Once you see it go up you can click on another video. Once you have earned 100%, or watched 10 videos, you will get 3sb. You can do this 25 times for 75sb per day.

Games - you can play games for free daily to earn 10sb per day. You can also enter tournaments, they are not free, to try to earn more. I only do the free play. But if your good at games, give it a shot, it's a good payout!

This is everything I do daily on Swagbucks. Plus the codes if I am able to catch them. I also try to post all active codes on the wall so others know when a code is out. (Sometimes I am not able to get everything done. Life does happen inbetween searches some days!) :)
